Sarann has completed a Master of Counselling degree from Monash University, Australia. Her training and counselling techniques draw upon an eclectic range of modalities such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Exposure Therapy. She currently serves as a Committee Member for NuLife Care & Counselling Services, a non-profit organization that aims to provide mental health support to underprivileged and marginalized communities in Singapore. Sarann has also provided volunteer work for the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME), in support of FDW and other underrepresented groups gaining greater access to educational and mental health needs.
The transition into the field of psychotherapy was a natural progression for Sarann. With the majority of her work experience in the education sector, she understands the importance of mental health and the impact that it carries. In her previous position as an English Teacher and Citizenship Instructor, she strived to incorporate elements of self-care and promote positive thinking, not realizing at the time that this passion to support others would eventually lead her to become a therapist.
Sarann was born and raised in Seattle, Washington but has also lived in several different countries and is well equipped to work with individuals from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. She is also a mother and understands the challenges that parents can sometimes face in navigating parenthood, both in and out of their home country. Her professional training allows her to work with clients on a variety of issues ranging from depression, anxiety, grief & disenfranchised grief, phobias, self-esteem/self-confidence, and relationship/family issues. She recognizes that each person is unique with their own personal story, life experiences, and strengths that they bring to the counselling space. She offers a counselling journey that highlights those strengths and tailors each session to the individual and their needs. Sarann does this by creating a safe, empathetic, and judgment-free space for all her clients to thrive.

Sarann is a registered level 1 Practitioner with The Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS) (Membership# A0361), provisional clinical member with Singapore Association for Counselling (Membership# F0086) and a professional member with the American Counselling Association (Membership# 6620239).
