Susanna holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University and a Diploma in Learning
Disorders Management and Child Psychology. She is also trained in Gottman Method
Couples Therapy Level II, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Integrating Mindfulness
and CBT. She is a Neuro-Semantic Programming practitioner.

Susanna aims to offer bespoke and empathetic support to her clients, drawing creatively on
her knowledge and experience in a range of modalities. She strives to build relationships
with her clients which are grounded on trust and mutual respect. She has experience
working with couples, adults, adolescents and children and has a particular interest and
expertise in the following areas:

Susanna is able to integrate mindfulness as a complementary tool to support her clients.
Her own mindfulness journey began in the UK in 2019, initially to support her own well-
being. Mindfulness has since become a cornerstone in her counselling practice as well as in
her personal life. Susanna trained in the MBSR approach with Mindfulness UK under the
British Association of Mindfulness-based Approaches (BAMBA). She completed in-person
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness master classes at the Oxford
Mindfulness Centre within the University of Oxford.

Susanna was born and raised in Hong Kong and speaks Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
She has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the UK. She had a sense of
wanderlust from an early age, which led her to voluntary community service in Botswana,
mountain climbing expeditions in Nepal and adventures in many places beyond. She is passionate and driven in everything she does and committed to lifelong learning, while cultivating well-being in herself and her clients.

Before training as a Counsellor, Susanna enjoyed a successful career in Advertising and PR as
a regional event and talent development manager for globally renowned firms. She is a
happily married and a devoted mother to two third-culture teenagers.
Susanna is a Provisional Clinical Member of Singapore Association of Counselling
(Membership # D0663).
