Relationship Therapist Singapore

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass... It’s about learning to dance in the rain." - Vivian Greene

Therapy with Scarlette is a collaborative journey to help you explore your challenges, expand awareness of your emotions and strengths, and develop resilience to weather the storm you are in. By mirroring how secure attachment looks like in the therapist-client relationship, Scarlette provides a safe platform for you to understand your needs and heal from your wounds through rebuilding a safe connection with self.

Using an integrative approach, Scarlette incorporates techniques from a range of evidence-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Emotions-Focused therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Imagery when tailoring treatment for clients. Scarlette’s areas of practice include depression, anxiety, anger, stress management, grief, self-esteem, assertiveness, life adjustment and relational challenges, and she works with both individuals and couples.

Originally from Hong Kong, Scarlette’s personal and professional life has led her to live in London, Los Angeles, Geneva and Singapore. These experiences provided valuable opportunities for her to connect with people from diverse backgrounds through openness, respect and authenticity. Realising her natural capacity to empathise with others and desire to work in the mental health space, she pursued a career change from banking to counselling in 2019. Aside from her professional endeavours, Scarlette is also a ballroom latin and yoga instructor. She particularly enjoys using movement as a form of self-expression, mindfulness practice and stress relief. It is Scarlette’s goal to utilize her professional competencies and relatable character to understand the unique struggles of each client and support them to find their own dance in the rain.

Scarlette is a registered provisional clinical member with the Singapore Association for Counselling (Membership# D0588).
